Otodus obliquus, previously known as Lamna obliqua, is quite popular among research scientists and shark experts. It is fair to say that this ancestral species is a celebrity equivalent of Pierce Brosnan. Although this extinct species of mackerel shark is nowhere near the biggest shark (C. Megalodon), the Otodus is still bigger than any modern carnivorous shark. Once a heavy contender among the predator sharks, most shark biologists and scientists look for  otodus teeth for sale . The teeth of the otodus species are highly known for a wide triangular crown and large side cusps that often tend to be on multiple sides. Another interesting fact about their teeth is that the large sets of teeth aren’t easy to locate. These teeth are most prevalent in the phosphate pits of the Atlas mountains in Morocco. One of the reasons why researchers and shark biologists wish to study their teeth is because of their evolutionary link to megatoothed sharks. There are studies indicating that megatoothe
