Otodus obliquus was originally known by the name of Lamna oblique and it was one of the earliest forms of mackerel sharks.   Tiger Sharks are known to be one of the biggest species of sharks all over the world. The largest one that is recorded to be measuring over 15 foot and weighing nearly 1100 pounds .
